Aundeck Omni Kaning Fire Department

The Fire Department is comprised of twelve to fifteen community volunteers. The fire department is equipped with the essential firefighting equipment to support the needs of the community. Fire trucks have been purchased to better serve the community and surrounding areas. The Little Current and Howland Township Fire Departments are on standby to assist Aundeck Omni Kaning when required. There are approximately 20 fire hydrants throughout the community and fire extinguishers are available and readily accessible in all private and public buildings as required. The firefighters receive training approximately every two weeks and some have had Ice Rescue Training from levels one to three and they also attend Mutual Aid meetings and firefighter competitions.

The Aundeck Omni Kaning Firefighters are a proud group of didicated people that are able to provide this service to the community.
